Never lose track of a stage again
Coarse, medium, fine, polish, burnish—or your own steps. Every barrel tells you where it is, how many days left, and what to do next. No more “wait… which one is on stage 3?”
For rock tumblers who take it seriously
Four to eight weeks per run is a long time to hold in your head. Tumbler Buddy remembers the stages, the timing, and the photos so you can focus on the fun part—lifting the lid and seeing what came out. Start free with one tumbler. Upgrade the moment a second machine shows up on the bench, or the first time you realize your whole batch history lives on one fragile phone.
Built for the grind (literally)
No more spreadsheets. No more paper logs taped to the shelf. No more squinting at a barrel wondering if it’s week four or week five. Open the app, see every machine, know exactly what’s next—at home, in the shed, anywhere. Works offline, because your garage probably doesn’t have great Wi‑Fi anyway.
Coarse, medium, fine, polish, burnish—or your own steps. Every barrel tells you where it is, how many days left, and what to do next. No more “wait… which one is on stage 3?”
Your Today tab is a short, honest list: rinse this one, advance that one, check on the burnish. No digging through notes. No opening every barrel to see who needs attention.
Gentle nudges when a stage ends or it’s time for a rinse. Quiet hours keep alerts out of your bedroom so you tumble in peace and sleep in peace.
Load a trusted preset or build your own grit sequence from scratch. Rotary, vibratory, seven days, ten days—however you run your barrels, the app matches you, not the other way around.
Snap a photo of every haul, tag the rough—agate, jasper, mixed creek finds—and keep it with the batch. Remember exactly what that ugly chunk looked like going in and what came out six weeks later.
Stages take weeks. Fill the time with tips, videos, and guides right inside the app—no more bouncing between ten browser tabs and three forum threads just to compare polish compounds.
A look inside
Home shows your tumblers. Active shows what’s running right now. Today tells you what needs doing. History holds every batch you’ve ever finished, photos and all. Swipe, tap, or use the arrows to look around.

Questions?
Short, honest answers about what’s in the app, what’s coming, and what it’ll cost—no fluff.
It’s the app that keeps every barrel on track—from the first load of coarse grit all the way to the final polish. Tumbler Buddy remembers which barrel’s in which stage, when it’s time to rinse, advance, or burnish, and it holds your batch photos and notes in one place. Think of it as a tumbling-obsessed friend living inside your phone.
Yes. Free is designed for someone with one tumbler machine (you can still run multiple barrels on that machine). If you run several tumblers — for example a rotary and a vibratory, or multiple units — Premium unlocks unlimited tumblers plus cloud backup.
Local means your batches, notes, and photos live on your phone only. If the device is lost, damaged, or reset without a backup, that data may be unrecoverable. Premium cloud backup stores a copy tied to your account so you can sign in on a replacement phone and restore your batches and notes.
Yes. Timers, barrels, and batches live on your device—you can check stages whether you’re at your tumbling spot or away from Wi‑Fi. You only need a connection for optional cloud sign-in, backup, or features that explicitly use the network.
No. You can label tumblers as rotary or vibratory and track stages the same way. The app cares about your program — coarse, medium, polish, burnish, or custom steps you define.
The app schedules local alerts on your device for stage milestones, cleaning windows, and burnishing — similar to a calendar reminder. You can turn them off or set quiet hours so you’re not buzzed overnight.
We’re focused first on making tracking effortless inside the app. Export and sharing features may arrive in updates; email us if something specific would help your workflow.

Subscription options (monthly, yearly, lifetime where offered) are shown inside the app before you pay. There’s no charge until you subscribe—you’re never billed just for downloading the free tier.
